RESULT IN BRIEF

HOW THE CONFIGURATOR WORKS

The planner can configure their individual variant of a skylight through a self-explanatory and dynamically adapting dialogue. Plausibility checks run in the background, and a live 3D viewer supports the planner in the process. In the CADClick® 3D viewer, they can immediately see if the configured product meets their expectations and how the technical values align. Once everything is configured to their satisfaction, they can download the necessary product data for that specific variant: BIM data, 2D and 3D CAD data, images, dimensioned drawings, and data sheets—all in a variety of selectable file formats. This process creates light domes, square or round flat roof windows, and flat roof exits tailored to precise needs and requirements.

CADCLICK®: HIGHLIGHT FOR CONVENTIONAL PLANNERS AND ARCHITECTS

Those who do not plan in BIM benefit from the PDF data sheet generated in the product configurator. The PDF data sheet includes a complete description of the configured daylight system, all technical properties, a dimensioned drawing of the key product dimensions, and a back-link to the configuration. In an active 3D model, they can rotate, cut, or zoom the skylight without CAD software and offline. Thus, this PDF data sheet serves as the comprehensive all-in-one document for the custom LAMILUX daylight system variant. The planner can save, share, and retrieve the configuration via link anytime, allowing for further editing. When satisfied with the skylight, they can request an offer or technical consultation with just one click.

TRANSFER TO COMMON BIM SYSTEMS

All these functions are also available to BIM planners. Additionally, plugins allow them to configure the daylight systems directly from BIM programs like REVIT®, Allplan, or ArchiCAD, place them in the building, and modify them directly within these programs.
