PROJECT: Drag Drop 3D configurator
SOLUTION: Configuration, 3D visualization
TECHNOLOGIES: CADClick®
With the conveyor belt configurator MiniTec offers a variety of options for designing custom conveyor belts. The user is guided intuitively through the configuration process. In addition to the created model, the user receives an automatically generated and detailed bill of materials at the end of the configuration. Furthermore, additional customizations can be made to the design afterward. Editing operations such as adding, moving, or removing components, as well as modifications like various drill holes or chamfers, are automatically reflected in the bill of materials.
One example of a Drag Drop configurator is the fire brigade roll containerthat MiniTec has been offering since 2021. With this 3D product configurator, components are assembled using snap points. For each created model, the user can export a construction plan in PDF format. This includes order data, a detailed bill of materials, processing plans, numerous views of the construction, and as a highlight, the component as a 3D PDF for direct three-dimensional viewing.
Not least, we are constantly working on optimizing our clients’ product presentation. This includes updating the download section of the MiniTec product catalog and simultaneously improving performance to always provide MiniTec and its end customers with a high-quality representation of the products.
