THE CHALLENGE

The previous BOGE webshop was outdated and no longer met the requirements of modern e-commerce solutions. Poor usability and a lack of features resulted in an inadequate customer experience. Customers, especially dealers, struggled to efficiently find spare parts for their machines and place orders. This not only hampered the ordering process but also placed a significant burden on sales staff, who were frequently contacted to manage manual ordering processes.

THE SOLUTION

Through an agile process and close collaboration with BOGE, a modern e-commerce solution was implemented within just a few months. During the initial project phase, the outdated shop system was thoroughly analyzed, and the customer’s primary requirements were defined. Together with the BOGE team, we developed a solution based on Shopware that was ready for rapid deployment.
A key feature of the solution is the direct integration with the ERP system via the ERP Bridge, which fully automated ordering processes and significantly reduced the sales team’s workload.

The new webshop features an intuitive user interface, enabling customers to quickly and easily order spare parts and smaller compressors. A standout feature is the machine search functionality, where customers can enter a machine number to instantly view all compatible spare parts. The quick order feature via Excel import simplifies large orders by allowing dealers to upload a list of spare parts, which the webshop automatically transfers to the shopping cart.

Additional features, such as order tracking and package tracking, were integrated to further enhance the customer journey. Thanks to the flexibility of the Shopware system, the webshop can be continuously expanded with new features. With the upcoming international expansion, the solution will reach broader customer groups and further improve the efficiency of ordering processes worldwide.
