A web-based service for photorealistic rendering of CADClick® data using ray tracing. Rendering is job-based, with render tasks submitted via web service.
A “render job” consists of associated metadata, render settings such as pixel size, and a scene description (lighting/camera).
KiM uses an open format for online rendering, enabling integration with systems like PIM, ERP, or webshops. Existing CADClick® data can also be used with appropriate material assignments.
The Online Renderer can also be integrated into our new modular system UI Controls. This allows individual products and configurations to be rendered photorealistically in real time.
For example, your sales department can attach rendered component images to quotes with a single click. The settings are stored in templates, so no expert knowledge is required.
